The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) posted a video on their official X, formerly known as Twitter, account where the Pakistani players were meeting with the Indian players as the two nations are set to take on one another at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on Saturday in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
The PCB posted a video containing several clips where cricketers from both countries are meeting and having a chat with one another.
In the first clip, Pakistan's Haris Rauf met with India's Virat Kohli. The two greeted each other with a handshake and then a hug.
The two were seen talking about the ongoing and upcoming tournaments. Kohli also asked Rauf about his fitness and they also discussed the challenges of playing the 50-over format.
In the second clip, Pakistani skipper Babar Azam with Imam-ul-Haq had a small chit-chat with Indian captain Rohit Sharma outside the practice ground.
The remaining clips showed an interaction between different players as the players from both countries gear up for tomorrow's clash.
The Pakistani and Indian cricketers share a great relationship and they have shared some of the most beautiful moments in the last two years.
Kohli was also seen having a chat with Babar Azam and Rizwan after Pakistan recorded their first-ever World Cup win against India in the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai.
Pakistan is in red-hot form, having defeated Nepal by a big margin in their Asia Cup opener and becoming the number-one ODI team in the world by whitewashing Afghanistan 3-0 in an ODI series just before the Asian event.
On the other hand, this will be India's first match in the tournament and some of their players will be playing their first-ever match against Pakistan.
If we talk about the head-to-head in the Asia Cup (ODI) between the two sides, then India have the upper hand against Pakistan with seven wins in 13 matches with their most recent win in the 2018 Asia Cup.
Meanwhile, the Green Shirts have won five with one match ending in no result.
